Our Christmas

Hey everyone. We hope you had a great holiday this year. Here are some of our highlights! We were so excited about all the snow we received. Halle was able to build her first snowman...for some reason she named him uncle Dan.
We also took Halle and Cohen on their first train ride. The Polar Express! IT was really fun, and freezing cold. We had to really bundle...Cohen grew three sizes by the time we had him dressed. Halle was so excited to see Santa that she ran down the isle and gave him a big hug. We read the Polar express on the train, ate cookies and drank hot cocoa. Halle received a special bell from Santa, (which she then lost on the way home...ironic?).

Halle made a surprise announcement to Santa this year when she told him that she wanted a rainbow for Christmas
Unfortunately, we had other plans for Halle. Drivers beware. Smile
Christmas was so fun this year with Halle. She really figured it out, although she had a hard time with the giving aspect of Christmas. Every time she gave a gift to someone, she would immediately take it back after they opened it. Cohen's big claim to fame this year was that he slept through most of Christmas and could fit nicely into his stocking
Halle was so excited to where her Christmas dress this year. When we pulled out her church coat on Sunday, she exclaimed, "I look like Cindy Loo" (yes we watched the Grinch our fair share of times) Well we hope you had a great Christmas. Having children sure brings back the magic!

tis the season

Hello friends and family! Today officially makes it christmas time...and don't we just love the snow! I am a "cold weather" person so I have been so excited today. Over Thanksgiving we were able to get christmas lights on our house and get our Christmas tree up. Chad and his dad were tied together by a rope, hanging on for dear life as they put our lights on the roof. I kept repeating the words...tis the season... every time Chad made a comment about the possibility of death. Life in our household is going well. Cohen is doing great, Halle is adjusting well (besides our current hitting the baby problem) and Chad and I are just mildly sleep deprived. Oh the joy of parenting.

Have a great Christmas season!
