2 funny things

Real quick I have to say that 2 funny comments were made today, by me, in furry.
The first was when I was happily blogging and Halle kept coming in and bugging me. Finally I snapped, "Halle STOP IT. MOMMY IS BLOGGIN!!!!." I had to laugh after because it sounded so stupid.
The second comment was made when I asked Halle to hang up her coat. She replied, "I am not mommy's helper today." My reply was, "You will pick up your coat or you can move out." I was serious and just laughed so hard after I said it to a 3 year old.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year because Grandma Noakes and Aunt Nicole came to visit. Halle had a great time finding her Easter basket and we had a great Easter feast. Grandma took lots and lots of pictures. Here is a sneak peak of some of them.

Cohen's Surgery

Hey Everyone. For those of you who hadn't heard, my little baby Cohen had surgery Monday at PCMC. He was born with a condition called Laryngomalacia which is usually no big deal and most kids tend to just grow out of it by 18 months. However, Cohen was
having obstructive sleep apnea with it and so we needed to surgically have support structures in his airway tightened. He did very well and recovery went better then expected. He is such a joy in our life and has a very strong spirit.

Halle's 3rd Birthday

Yippi! Our little girl turned 3 on Saturday. It was a very fun day because she actually understood what was going on. She requested a purple barbie cake about two months prior to the event, and then asked her "Nona" to make it for her. My mom had quite the adventure pulling that one off. It took her and my dad 3 hours to get the frosting the right color. Grandpa Noakes came into town also and we had a big family party. We went swimming at the South Davis recreation center. Halle was even brave enough to go down the water slide...which is a first because she is usually very timid about everything. SHe loved the water and had tonz of fun with her cousins. Thanks to all the family members who came and supported her! The final ceremony of the day was when Halle cut her Binkys off with scissors to commemorate her advancement to age three. Mom was not too sad to see them go.

The Halle & Cohen Show

I guess I need to change the name of this bolg to plain old Halle & Cohen. I am really obsessed with them. Cohen started to roll over and has become a little more picky, especially since Grandma Noakes came to visit and gave him the royal treatment! . He is also balding, but I think it is just to make room for his future blond hair. Halle is my little helper. I am amazed at how much she can do around the house and assist me with Cohen. I was burning dinner the other night and ran to put out the flames and Cohen was screaming and I said, "Halle, feed him!" She sat down on the floor next to him and gave him the entire bottle. Amazing. I see why people want to have a lot of children...little slaves....I remember being one!

The new Cohen

Wow, I suddenly realized that Cohen is no longer my little newborn baby. He is so smiley, very verbal with various coos and cahs, responds to my voice, gets upset when I put him down, moves his arms and legs all around the place in excitement, and has found a new love for our baby Bach DVDs collection. They grow up way to fast....(I am still in denial about this whole grow up thing and refuse to put Cohen in 3-6 month clothing)

Halle is getting used to Cohen too. She imitates me in that when she talks to Cohen she uses a really high pitched voice. However her voice is already really high, so she can reach some never before heard squeaking tones. Its really cute!
Just relaxing in Halle's bed after our naps!
The flower background suites me well
