Milestones

Lets start by saying that Cohen is the cutest and biggest kid around. He just went to the doctor and weighs 181/2 pounds, not to mention he is in the 85th percentile in height too. We were informed we needed to buy a bigger car seat. He is just this big bundle of chubb. He is sitting really well now and pretty much just smiles all day long. He is such a good baby. In the morning and after naps when he wakes up he just lays there until I decide to go get him. He loves to eat, of course, and will hold onto the spoon with each bite that enters his mouth. Halle and Cohen have alot of fun together. I can see why two kids is really nice because they kindof are starting to entertain each other. We have a had a really fun month just being outside. Oh and I
need to mention that Halle has an official imaginary friend, Pica is his name (sometimes it is a her) and she talks about him all the time. It is his birthday almost everyday and I catch her throwing him parties. She told me that she loves me but loves Pica more. Should I be worried???

Tagged for my man

I was tagged along time ago, but finally decided participate because Chad is a great husband and deserves a tribute.

What is his name? Chad Daniel Noakes

How long have we been married? 6 1/2 years. Time flies!

How long did we date? On and off and on and off again for 1 year

How old is he? 28

Who eats more? I do, he is not a huge eater...

Who said I love you first? He did, and then attempted to break up with me...again...for not saying it back.

Who is taller? He is

Who sings better? I do, but he is pretty good too. He sings guns and roses songs well

Who is smarter? That is a tie. I am better at science and math and he is better at everything else

Whose temper is worse? That is a tie too. Chad only has a temper when it comes to house projects.

Who pays the bills? I do because I spend all the money and need to know where it goes

Who does the laundry? I do...I wouldn't let him...ever.

Who cooks dinner? I do, but he can make great pancakes that he does every Saturday.

Who drives when together? He does

Who is more stubborn? Me. I am really bad at apologizing

Who is the first to admit when wrong? Chad, even when he is right

Who wears the pants in the family? Equal

Who eats more sweets? Halle

Who mows the lawn? He does...I would offer, but he recently purchased a hand push mower. Not up for that.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me

Who kissed who first? He kissed me, but claims I was begging for it.

Who asked who out first? I asked him out to a haunted house. I said, "you can come if you want." We still laugh about that

Who proposed? He did

What is my favorite thing about him? He is a great husband. So kind, selfless and loving. He is also an amazing father and such a hard worker. He is also very handsome...I hate to brag but he has been mistaken for Brad Pitts brother/ relative many times. He is going to kill me for posting this, but I love him very much.

Swim Lessons!

Well this month has been pretty uneventful, so I had to talk about the one thing somewhat fun for us and that is going to swim lessons. Halle started out very terrified of the water...even in the bath tub she would freak out if she had water on her chin. But now she is a super star and can go all the way under the water by herself. Hey it's a start.

Halle has been a great sport and is so proud of her bubbles and kicking. And I get to mingle with other moms on the side lines. Cohen just.....chills.

2 funny things

Real quick I have to say that 2 funny comments were made today, by me, in furry.
The first was when I was happily blogging and Halle kept coming in and bugging me. Finally I snapped, "Halle STOP IT. MOMMY IS BLOGGIN!!!!." I had to laugh after because it sounded so stupid.
The second comment was made when I asked Halle to hang up her coat. She replied, "I am not mommy's helper today." My reply was, "You will pick up your coat or you can move out." I was serious and just laughed so hard after I said it to a 3 year old.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year because Grandma Noakes and Aunt Nicole came to visit. Halle had a great time finding her Easter basket and we had a great Easter feast. Grandma took lots and lots of pictures. Here is a sneak peak of some of them.

Cohen's Surgery

Hey Everyone. For those of you who hadn't heard, my little baby Cohen had surgery Monday at PCMC. He was born with a condition called Laryngomalacia which is usually no big deal and most kids tend to just grow out of it by 18 months. However, Cohen was
having obstructive sleep apnea with it and so we needed to surgically have support structures in his airway tightened. He did very well and recovery went better then expected. He is such a joy in our life and has a very strong spirit.
