going private
In response to several nightmares I have had about my children over the months and the constant weighing on my conscience to make my blog private I have finally given in. If you want an invite leave your email address...

Tullips!
Ok so its not to late! Everyone still has time to go to the Tullip Festival at Thanksgiving point. It is so fun and beautiful and great exercise might I add (you have to do lots of walking) My kids loved it! We also made a stop at the Red Barn to see the animals and take a pony ride. Thanks Nona for treating us to a really fun day

Omaha Baby!
Cohen and I were able to go on our first vacation together. We went to visit one of my best friends Becca Matsumori and her little boy Hugh who are living there for dental school. Didn't know that there were so many great things to do in Omaha, Nebraska but we had a blast! They even have a fabulous Target there...
Heading out to church where Hugh was much more reverent then Cohen
Although hughie tries he just cannot out "cheese" the Cohen.
what our ancestors endured to establish Zion.

touched
I must admit that it was difficult to watch all of conference given the hyper and neediness of my children, who having been cooped up in the house for two days and constantly told to "be quiet" can be easily sympathized with. However everyone was perfectly quiet so I could hear Elder Hollands remarkable talk in the morning session on Sunday. I was so touched by this talk and it was so perfect for the Easter season. If your kids were acting out and you missed this one for any reason I recommend watching or reading it. I really loved all of conference that I did hear and just love every apostle so much. They truly are inspired.

Bragging blogger
Ok so I normally try to avoid doing braggy post, but Chad and I were hooked up with some awesome jazz tickets from Chad's work and I am not going to hide my enthusiasm. Last Saturday night we watched the Jazz take the Suns in a very exciting overtime game not to mention we were pretty close to the action.

Swimming!
With spring feeling closer everyday, halle has been dying to go swimming (at Cherry Hill) but since we cannot grant her that wish, we took the kids to the indoor Bountiful bubble instead for family night. Halle put on her floaties and was off... It was hard to keep track of her because she was so fast and so into "swimming alone." As for Cohen, that boy has no fear. He was off just as fast as Halle and even attempted to drown a few times without a bit of tears or hesitation. Who knows how I will manage them both this summer!
