Update

Halle is 4 1/2 years old. She is a true princess at heart. I didn't know it was possible to be 100% pink, but Halle is. She loves to dance, sing, wear dresses and glitter, loves her nails painted, hates to get dirty, even loves to wear perfume so she "smells like flowers." We have had a fun summer together and have spent tons of time at the pool. She is getting very good at swimming informing me to, "throw away my floaties and goggles because I don't need them anymore" She is still very shy and cautious and will observe a situation for a long period of time before participating. Oh and she is suddenly very scared of cars...don't know why but she reminds me constantly to be a better driver and freaks out if I take my time crossing the street. Of course she loves to "mother" and be in charge, especially with Cohen. And a proud mother must also add that she started reading this summer. I have loved this age because Halle has become my BFF. Now if we could just get her emotions under control we would be smooth sailing...

Cohen is almost two going on three. The reason I say this is because he is a head taller then most two year olds. I have had two people ask me if Halle and Cohen were twins (when they were sitting down) and Cohen just wants to do everything Halle does. Doesn't want a crib, bib, or highchair, wants to buckle his own car seat, put on his shoes, swim independent of his life jacket (not a good idea) and is now insisting to put on his backpack and go to school. He is still my baby at heart and even though he is huge, he still loves to rock with me, loves his Binky and blanky and thank goodness he has no interest in potty training. He talks very loud and very monotone. Some of his favorite sentences are "GOING" (where are we going), "DOING" (what are you doing), "EAT", "OUTSIDE" and of course "NO." He wears me out completely, but he is so much fun too. I am just so lucky to have my girly girl and my rough house boy!

American Idol Concert!!!

Seriously peed my pants this concert was SO good! Everyone knows how in love with this show I am and this was the first year I was able to go to the concert. I went with my cute hubby Chad (who was such a good sport and love the concert more then he would ever admit) and...My girls! (sisters and mom). I have to mention quickly that my mom is in love with Anoop. She kept getting busted by the security guard for trying to sneak up closer to the stage when he was singing.I just cant get over how awesome they all sounded live. Ten times better then on TV. Allison is awesome and such a good performer. Love Megan. So cute and wore they most amazing dresses.

Matt was AWESOME. One of my favorites Live. He can really handle the stage and is so good at the piano!

Danny sang the most touching songs and had us in tears when he talked about his wife...

Adam. Where do I even start. His voice is not even human it is so good. I had chills the entire time he sang. singing "Mad World"
And yes I know he is married and I am married but I just LOVE Kris. I even told Chad on the way into the concert, "tonight babe, my heart belongs to Kris."

Save your money for next year. You don't want to miss it!

Thanks mom for waiting in line 4 hours with a bunch of weirdos and getting interviewed by the news to get us awesome seats!

Tennis anyone?

At the beginning of summer, Chad and I decided we wanted find some outdoor hobbies to replace our current hobby of...TV watching... (I know it is horrible) in the evenings. Although it has been years, Chad and I both played tennis back in the day so it seemed like a fun idea. Halle was quickly equipped with a "Venus and Sarina" pink tennis racket and Cohen inherited Chad's racket ball racket. We have only played a handful of times, but we really have enjoyed it. The kids get so excited when we say we are going to play tennis and run quickly to get their rackets. They are naturals on the court...smile. As for Chad and I, we are slowly finding our old skills. If anyone is up for some doubles, give us a call:)

Oakley Rodeo!

Say Yehaa y'all! We went dressed in fashion to the Oakley Rodeo. Halle was the cutest cowgirl I have ever seen and Cohen was just a heart breaker... and very restless sitting in those bleachers. I must say the bull ridding was our favorite sport to watch but unfortunately the bulls won...Thanks Grandpa and Nona for treating us to a fun night!

a little red rock...

The whole fam spent last weekend down in St George. My parents rented a house in Coral Canyon, just outside of the city, which is beautiful and very peaceful. We spent a lot of time at the pool, played tennis, visited the sand dunes, played a lot of games, BBQs and mostly just watched our hyper kids go crazy over each other. Here is a peak... loved the way these pictures turned out (learning photoshop).

Visiting our "family park" named after my great grandpa

The biggest sand box ever...
