Roar!

Last month while James and I were enjoying the warmth of the AZ sun (visiting girlfriends and family for a weekend) Chad and his mom braved the cold air and took the kids to the OUTDOOR dinosaur park in Layton. Of course the kids didn't notice the weather one bit due to all the excitement!

Apparently the kids got special treatment while they were there and got to ask all sorts of questions to a real paleontologist (funny I only knew that word from Friends). Cohen is holding a real dinosaur bone or tooth maybe (?)...dun dun dun

...and apparently the tooth fairy is rich now cause Halle woke up to 4 gold dollar coins :/

I woke up this morning and turned my head to see three sleeping children in my bed. Three sleeping children who would soon wake up. Three sleeping children who relied 100% on me for everything. I cried. Then after about 5 minuets, I wiped my eyes and went to bat... because they are worth it:)

Happy Birthday to you...happy birthday to you....happy birthday dear Halle....happy birthday to you! cha cha chaHalle turned six this week and we celebrated with a pinkalicious pajama party. Friends and cousins came over in their pjs and we partied all night!rules out the window...we jumped on couches, had pillow fights, ate lots of treats (out of the kitchen), painted nails without supervision, hit the pinyada with a bat and of course

ate bubble gum!

My little Cohen has really struggled with this new baby being in our home. I feel so bad for him, but at the same time he drives me nuts. Some of his favorite sentences right now are, "put that baby down!", "no, I am the baby!", "where is the binky?!?",

"you are the worst mom in the whole wide world" :(

So with that said, here is a picture of my son (who was once potty trained, slept through the night and had been weaned from binkies for a year) in his favorite hiding place behind James

No worries cause Chad comes to the rescue everyday to make sure Cohen has lots of fun and attention (our new couches, soon to be not so new)


He does have his cute moments as a big brother, although they are moments

Chad blessed James today and it was such a good day. I was so happy to have may family here for the blessing. Grandpa Noakes made a special trip out from California so he could be apart of the circle. I am so blessed to be a mother and to have such great Priesthood holders in my family

For some reason all my kids seem to just LOVE grandpa. Something about the way he talks to them or cuddles them or make googoo faces at them, they just love him instantly. James is no exception. Grandpa got out James' first laugh this weekend:)
