Halloween festivities are the best. My fam ventured down to Thanksgiving point this year to do Corn Bellys. My kids were entertained for hours! I didn't love the crowd and hobbling around big and pregnant, but other then that it was great!

Check out Cohen in the drivers seat. It was a huge fight to get him off, he was in heaven!

Fall Pictures
I am by no means a photographer, but I do like to take pictures and I LOVE Fall. So my sister Tracie and I headed to Memory Grove last Sunday to capture the kids in nature. All I can say is that photographers are very patient and talented because it is hard work to get good pictures. Here are a few of my fav.

Cohen was in good spirits for about 5 min. After that, this was his permanent face..."when can we have our picnic...?"

quotes of the day
While we were driving in the car,
Halle: Mom, I finally figured out what I am going to be when I grow up
Mom: Yeah what?
Halle: I am going to work in a haunted house in a scary costume and scare people!
(a mothers dream)
Cohen: Yeah, and and and when I grow up I am going to work in a happy house and make people laugh and be silly!
Halle: Cohen there is no such thing as silly houses...(roll of the eyes)
Mom: smile
During story time with Cohen and Daddy
Chad: Once upon a time there was a pumpkin and he decided to plant some hay so he started to walk down the hill to...
Cohen: But Daddy, pumpkins don't have legs
Chad: Oh right..., so the pumpkin grabbed a shovel and started to dig some holes to plant the...
Cohen: But Daddy, pumpkins don't have arms

All grown up!
Wow the first day of kindergarten came and went very quickly. These are all the cute kids from our ward that are going to kindergarten with Halls. All us moms stood there teary eyed at the East doors as our little babies walked in single file into the school waving goodbye.
This girl has been ready for this day for a long time. She is so independent and wants to learn and know about everything. The hardest part of having her in school is that Cohen and I have no one to call the shots and tell us what to do (we resort to napping and just watching the clock until Halle comes home again).
Soooo Silly and Sooooo much energy. Good luck Mrs Yardley! Do you want a cute

Family Reunion
In August we attended an awesome family reunion with Chad's side of the family, which was so fun because we hardly ever get to see all the cousins, aunts and uncles. We went to a cabin up in northern California that was beautiful and actually reminded me more of Utah then of Cali. I am sad to admit that I didn't' do great with my camera, but here are a few pics I did get (hopefully more to come);)
Can't have a family reunion without coordinating hats that we each decorated. I love this picture cause Chad's cute grandma in the background is even sporting one.
First canoe ride for the kids.
We also participated in canoe racing as part of the "amazing race" competition. Chad didn't want to be may partner cause I am big and pregnant and he thought "useless" but I actually proved to be pretty good at rowing.
We had a very fun skit night wearing these hats.
Decorating hats!!! Halle can be entertained with glitter and glue for hours
lots of deep breaths and just let them have fun, which they did.

July 2010
Where has the summer gone? I have no idea...I have been hot and busy hustling about to get ready for this 3rd baby (cause once #3 comes you can never do anything again right?) I myself cannot believe I have only three months left. We finally moved Cohen into a big boy bed and Halle was moved into a Teenage bed (queen). However with the lack of routine around here and all the late summer nights we pretty much sleep where ever we pass out which is all over the house ( not to worry, type A personality Kelly will have that all sorted out once school starts hopefully...which is in two weeks:/ We also had to move our office downstairs to make room for the baby room, which opened a whole new can of worms...papers and books everywhere! This led to a deep clean of the garage and storage room, don't ask me how. So here we are temporarily organized, tired, hot and now summer is almost over:(
No worries though. My kids have had a blast being crazy with all the neighbor kids out back and we have managed to enjoy some great summer gigs. Here is a pic of our family get together where a six month pregnant women played baseball and ran all the bases!

Never made it Camping officially, but Chad set up the tent backyard style along with his projector so we could watch a movie while star gazing at the same time. (Plus mommy got to sneak inside to her cozy bed once the kids were asleep). My style of camping.
Pioneer day was fun, hot and filled with way to much candy.
The best part about it was our neighborhood parade. Cute, simple and everything a child could dream for.
We are heading out this week for a family reunion in Cali. Enjoy your last weeks of summer!!!

Speaking of baseball, we also went to a Bees game with our good friends the Sorensens and the kids got to run the bases at the end of the game. I am learning that Halle is much more into sports then we originally thought
...they had a blast!
