Update

James is my little baby. Literally, I still call him, "my baby" when I talk about him to others. I forget how independent he is and wants to be. He follows Halle and Cohen around like a little puppy dog, wanting to do everything they do. He has even mastered the, Gandnam Style, "Hey Sexy Lady" dance. Its Hilarious. He loves cars and books. I never before have had a child request so many storys. James is also fearless and loves to climb on anything, loves swimming, and loves anything to do with sports. His nickname used the most is "Money"...not sure where this came from. It just came out of my mouth and stuck.

First official haircut. He was happy and content the entire time.

Always has a "cheese"

This is the lovely picture that Halle took of James and entered into the school "Reflections" contest. She won in her age division for the school and made it all the way to district. The theme was, "Magic of the Moment." It was more of a funny moment when this picture was taken...

Halle is my little dramatic 7 year old, going on 13. She is very mature for her age and helps me so much around the house and with the boys. She even wakes me up in the morning and tells me to "get ready for work"...seriously. She is very loud and says what is on her mind. She is also crazy emotional!! We go from tears to bouncing off the walls laughing to pouting in 5 minuets time. She LOVES music and LOVES to dance. She even has taken control of the radio when we are in the car (which I totally remember doing as a child and driving my mom crazy). She is always excited about life and is very positive. She constantly entertains us all with games, stories, crafts and dances. A little nervous for when she is really 13...

Always entertaining everybody
At the "Reflections" ceremony for Cottonwood Elementary with some of her
cute friends Annie and Shae.

This picture is quite deceiving because Cohen does not like to play in the snow or to be cold. I feel that I have another California surfer boy on my hands. Cohen is such a unique boy. He is so kind and loving to everyone. He is gentile and tender and has a heart of gold. He doesn't care too much for sports yet, but loves to wrestle with his Dad and would like to play tennis someday. He is also proving to be very smart and a good student. This is my child who actually notices me and cares about my feelings; and can also be such a smooth talker.. He is also very "sneaky" and has a mischievous side, so you gotta be on your toes.

Playing the same guitar that Chad played as a child...I think I have this
exact picture of his Dad, same hair and all.

Loves these 3 kids with all that I am!!!

Its Fall!!

Its my favorite time of year. Living in Holladay makes it more magical then ever. This is the view from our back porch. Leaves cover the streets and swirl in the air when you drive through the neighborhoods. I am not writing a poem, just describing how much I love this time of year...especially here.

We spent a couple of weekends up at my BFFs condo in Snowbird (Miche). It brought back so many    memories of my youth and my kids had a blast. The beauty was indescribable.

We LOVE Gardner Village in the Fall. This was one tradition that had me in tears missing my mom. Some traditions just need a Grandma!! I was proud of my little JJ for riding a horse all by himself.

BYU UTAH game!! Our family is turning out to be a little purple mix. I grew up a Utah fan, then went to BYU where I met Chad. He was a BYU fan but then went to UofU for law school. Now our 2 kids are split down the middle. We had a really fun party with a bunch of Chad's friends from Rehab. Can't say for sure who won or loss this year:/
Gotta carve the pumpkins. Am I a bad mom if I am burning out on this tradition already? Lets see...prob 10 more years ahead of me....at least....

Happy Halloween!!! Off to good old Shadow Wood with our good friends The Barbosas!!
