Pumpkin picking

So Chad is the ultimate traditionalist especially when it comes to holidays. Simply going to a local store to pick out a pumpkin will not due. He has childhood memories of driving in a car one hour, loading onto a hay ride and venturing out into the country to pick out the perfect pumpkin. Luckily for us we have a pumpkin patch right down the street and so Chad wasn't too disappointed this year (however he did drag Halle out to the furthermost corner of the patch to choose a pumpkin and afterwords she was covered with dirt and mosquito bites). After we picked our pumpkins we hit the hay maze and then called it a night. We look foreword to chopping down our own Christmas tree to also live up to Chad's standards.

How fun. I love that patch. I think it is great that your hubby pulls for traditions.

Dang straight! If Chad didn't stand up for our traditions we would have some problems! You don't know how lucky you are. Halle and Cohen will treasure those memories like we do. Long live Bishop's pumpkin patch! (So funny, I was just telling Brian about those times this week) Good times....
