So Chad is always relieved when fall roles around cause that means a garantee of good spirits around the house. I just LOVE fall, as most people do but it is by far my most favorite season and I am always in a good mood. Some of my favorite things include, cold nights and warm days, of course leaves falling on the ground (out here in farmington it means one leaf, singular), the start of my addiction to hot chocolate, sweatshirts and jeans, any candle scent that has the word "spice" in it, jogging or walking when it is brisk in the morning, utah football games, and the list goes on and on.....Saturday, September 27, 2008

My Kids...
Well Halle has officially grown up and is getting ready to move out on her own...or so it feels like. She started Preschool this week! I thought she would hold onto my leg and refuse to leave my side, but she had no problem at all. In fact the night before she made it perfectly clear that mommy was NOT going with her. She has become so independent! Two of her best friends go with her, Addy and Parke and they are quite an excited group.
What can I say about Cohen other then what a stud. He is a little obsessed with his bottles as this picture shows and crawls around the house with them. But he is the second child so do I really worry about this??? He is very active and loves loves loves to eat food. Many can attest to his abiliy to clear out his own food and steal food away from other babies. I just love that my kids finally play together and have fun.

Family Reunion at Lake Michigan
We have been really lucky this summer to have had a few weekend get-aways to get us out of the heat and in a new scenery. We were very lucky to be able to visit the Sloan Family back in Chicago. We toured the city for a day but spent most of our time at a beautiful B&B on Lake Michigan. I must say it is one of the prettiest places I have ever been. We had a crazy time playing at the beach (which included water balloon volleyball), playing bunko, singing bunko blues following the bunko game, night swimming in the lake and of course Chad's favorite late night poker tournaments. Our children were in heaven running around with a million little cousins and getting filthy dirty with sand! Thanks to Uncle Phil and Jacque (mom) for keeping our family tied together. We love seeing you guys.

4th of July!!
We Spent the 4th of July weekend up in Park City! So fun to get away and out of the hot weather. We lounged at the pool (Poor Cohen fell into the hot tub), went to the local parade, hit the alpine slides and watched a great fire work show.

Girls Trip!!!
I had my first officially "get-a-way" since Cohen has been born. A buch of girls from my neighborhood went to St. George for the weekend. It was so fun to just play and have zero responsibility. Our trip entailed of sun bathing, shopping, eating and gabbing, which I would say are my #1 hobbies. Thanks to Misty for planning a fantastic weekend!
